Our Role
The Good Food Merchants Guild unites America’s Good Food producers. All across the country, a new crop of food producers is reviving the traditional crafts of preserving, brewing, roasting and distilling and is playing an ever-growing role in our food system: buying in bulk from local farms, creating green collar jobs and building local food communities. Seedling Projects has launched the Good Food Merchants Guild as a way to support businesses beyond the 114 Good Food Award Winners, by connecting all producers with sellers, enabling information sharing, facilitating joint marketing and acting as a bridge to other organizations seeking to support such businesses.

Project Details
The Good Food Merchants Guild was launched in 2012 to convene and promote American food businesses that share the same values. From benefits like free listings on Good Food Jobs to inclusion in the Good Food Merchants Guild directory of great food businesses, to networking events with buyers and retailers, the Guild brings concrete support to its members.
