Our Role
Seedling Projects has brought together a nationally renowned group of food producers, food writers, grocers, farmers and chefs to create the Good Food Awards. With guidance from the leaders in each food industry, we craft criteria for eligibility that will move each industry towards more sustainable practices. Culminating in an annual celebration in San Francisco, the awards recognize the producers and food communities that create excellent beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, cheese, pickles, preserves and spirits all around the country. The awards take a comprehensive view, honoring people who make food that is delicious, authentic and responsibly produced.

Project Details
The Good Food Awards celebrate the craft producers who are redefining 'good food' in America to be tasty, authentic, and responsible. We grant annual awards, host business building seminars, taste workshops, and press conferences to building the public interest in the good food and drink produced across the country. We host an annual Awards Ceremony and Marketplace at the iconic Ferry Building in San Francisco to honor the Good Food Award recipients who push their industries towards craftsmanship and sustainability while enhancing our agricultural landscape and building strong communities.View the Good Food Award Winners 2012 here.
